This month’s pack-in game is an absolutely charming little platformer by Daniel Linssen (AKA Managore). Roguelight is a free (or pay your own price) game platformer whose gimmick is that you use your limited number of fire arrows to light your way as you travel down into an increasingly more dark dungeon. You also collect coins to be able to get upgrades to your character, which then gives you the ability to go yet deeper in the the abyss. The style of Roguelight is very reminiscent of original Gameboy games, which just tickles me.
If you even remotely enjoy platformers, then this is a great free to play title to whittle away the time. Honorable mention goes to another one of his titles, Windowframe, which has you resizing the playfield as a mechanic to help you traverse stages.
