I’m Tired of This BS: Label Your Shit

There has been a lot said on­line about Vice’s re­cent ar­ti­cle re­gard­ing Forza Horizons 3 and the state of Australia. But I don’t think the main is­sue is the fact that there is shoe­horned pol­i­tics in that piece. I be­lieve the is­sue to be the very poor la­bel­ing on Vice, and how clear­ly la­bel­ing your ar­ti­cles can tem­per ex­pec­ta­tions. The main is­sue I see is that you can take that ar­ti­cle how­ev­er you want be­cause it does not say whether it’s a re­view, or an ed­i­to­r­i­al, or an opin­ion. In post­mod­ern fash­ion, they have let you in­ter­rupt that yourself.
